Every time you save something, a little AI reads it and draws out the ideas. That takes a small amount of energy. We could ignore it. Honestly, it is tiny. Instead we turn it into something good. We plant real trees, in real forests, for the people who use REPS.
Every month we plant real, countable trees with JUST ONE Tree, based on how much REPS was used that month. One pound plants one tree. Real trees in the ground, not a vague promise, and we can point to them. We have already started.
A big part of what drew us to JUST ONE Tree is mangroves. They plant them on coastlines that have lost them, and they help regenerate the oceans around them.
Mangroves do more than almost any forest. They lock away carbon faster, they shield the coast from storms, and they bring water, fish, and life back to places that had lost them. A tree planted here helps bring a stretch of coastline back to life.
We look at what our app uses and plant far more than that. A little more while the trees are young, and many times more as they grow.
Our footprint is small, and we would rather give back more than we take. We do it because we think that is the right way to build.
