REPS

Fair Use Policy

Effective: June 18, 2026

REPS is built to give you generous room to save, train, and remember as much as you want. This Fair Use Policy explains the small number of common-sense boundaries that keep REPS fast, affordable, and fair for everyone who uses it. It applies to your use of the REPS app, our website at getreps.io, and any related services (our "Platform").

The spirit of this policy

Generous does not mean infinite. Turning your articles, videos, documents, and notes into flashcards relies on AI processing that has a real cost for every item we handle. Almost no one comes close to a limit through normal learning, and this policy is not here to ration honest use. It exists so that a tiny number of extreme or automated cases cannot degrade the experience or sustainability of the Platform for everyone else.

What fair use looks like

Fair use is simply using REPS the way it is meant to be used:

What falls outside fair use

To keep things fair for everyone, the following are not permitted:

How we handle it

We treat fair use as a conversation, not a penalty. If your usage looks well outside the ordinary range, our first step is to reach out and talk it through. While we review, we may temporarily pause processing or a subscription, and we will work with you to find an arrangement that fits your needs. You will always get a chance to discuss your usage and explore options before any lasting action is taken. We reserve the right to limit, suspend, or end access in cases of clear or repeated abuse, but that is the last resort, not the first.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Fair Use Policy from time to time as the Platform evolves. When we make significant changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app or by email.
